GLAMOROUS HEARTS.
THRIFTING HOW-TUESDAY
SECONDHAND GLAM.
I seem to have a knack for this whole secondhand wardrobe thing, and can usually do an outfit for under $20. Jeans, a top, boots, accessories – manageable. But dressing up for a fancy event just inherently costs more, right? Not necessarily.
I was asked to be a part of the Hearts for the Arts charity event that happened a few weeks ago, and was determined to #1: have something new & glam to wear, and #2: still not spend more than $20.
When it was all said & done, I walked out of Thrift Town with
a whole new (secondhand) outfit for under $17.

The faux fur had black satin ribbons on each end,
so I simply crossed it at the waist and tied the ribbons in the back.
The layered vintage necklace was perfect for the retro look.
Add a dash of red lipstick, and I was ready to go!
This outfit total: $16.96
Perfect little black dress: $2.99
Faux fur: $3.99
Vintage necklace: $1.99
Gold/Creme heels: $7.99

those heels are rad! You found such great stuff and put together a great outfit. I have yet to score such amazingness from one trip to Thrift Town. Might be a fun challenge when I have the cash.
