CONVERTABLE WARDROBE STAPLE.

SECOND-HAND-MADE-MONDAY. the skirtshirtdress.

Happy Monday, darlings!
Our friend Bella of Citizen Rosebud sent over something wonderful, knowing how much we love taking a piece of clothing and wearing it as something completely different.
(You read our skirt–>dress post, right?) What better way to increase your wardrobe than shopping on the other side of your own closet? (Assuming, if you share a house with a man, his clothes are on that side, and you haven’t banished his wardrobe to the spare room closet cause a girl needs room for her shoe collection…)

Til now, his shirts have two jobs: make him look all suave when you go out together, and a cute & sexy option for you around the house. Now, you can actually wear it out in public as a girly top, skirt or dress!

When we got this video, we were stoked, and then almost didn’t share it with you all. Kinda wanted to just rock the look out in public & feel super innovative & creative. But it’s just too good, although we’re a bit bummed we didn’t come up with it ourselves. Haha.

As it turns out, the most convertable piece in your wardrobe might not be yours at all.
Here’s the video. You’re welcome.

. . .

Would you try any of these looks? If you do, take a pic & send it to us!

Went out and bought some men’s shirts at Thirft Town today so I could play with this look at home.

So imaginative — LOVE how a man’s dress shirt can take on so many directions.

    • Isn’t this just so much fun?? Just days after posting this, I was modeling in a show where they asked me to walk down the runway with the men’s shirt as the skirt. Love inspiring people!
