LOCAL BREEZY SUNDAY LOVE.
Julep & Holly. Juniper & Jeannine.
Local. Love.
It was a GORGEOUS weekend in Sacramento – I picked a great time to visit!
I was stoked to get to shop local and visit a number of boutiques & vintage shops, as well as eat at Cornerstone for the first time & introduce my husband to Tres Hermanas. I’ve found it is so much easier to support local & really connect with shop owners & neighbors when riding a bike. The entire ride becomes the destination!
Since doing the Velo & Vintage show with my friend Lorena (fashion inspiration!) this past May at Hot Italian, I am feeling the freedom to dress up cute & get on my bike for a leisurely jaunt about town. Who needs spandex when you have a sweet vintage dress?
Awhile back I was privileged to guest post on Lorena’s awesome local cycle & fashion blog, Sac Cycle Chic, and share some images from a breezy Sunday trip to Sac. I came across the pictures again today & realized I never shared them with you all here. My friend & I, vintage fashion, local love…here’s a look at my take on a lazy local love Sunday.
. . . . . .
{ Thrifted seersucker dress : $3.99. Vintage blouse : $5.99. }

{ pedaling through Land Park. Vic’s Ice Cream anyone? }

{ Jeannine parking Julep in Old Town, en route to brunch. }

{ my vintage Schwinn, Holly & my lucky $3.00 thrifted Steve Madden’s. }

How was your weekend?
